SCAR THERAPY
A scar is a natural result of the healing process of the skin and deeper tissues following injuries, medical procedures, surgeries, or burns. Although it is evidence of regeneration, it is often less elastic, has poorer blood circulation, and can cause a pulling sensation, discomfort, or even restrict movement. In some cases, it also affects body posture, daily well-being, and can disrupt sensation in the area surrounding the scar.

I use manual scar therapy to increase the elasticity of scar tissue, improve blood circulation, enhance awareness and sensation in the area, and integrate the scar with the surrounding body structures. During the session, I use both precise manual techniques and supporting tools, such as cupping or taping. As a result, the scar gradually becomes softer, less visible, and less bothersome, while the body gains comfort, freedom of movement, and improved sensation in the treated area.
While in the therapeutic process, I also offer additional forms of support that can accelerate recovery, facilitate structural integration, or calm the nervous system—such as Thai or Polyvagal massage. These complementary techniques support natural regenerative processes and improve the comfort of the entire body.
This is a safe method that supports the body's natural regeneration, reduces movement restrictions, improves the aesthetic appearance of the scar, and restores comfort, well-being, and proper sensation in the scar area.
