Polyvagal massage is a gentle, relaxing, and precise practice I use to help you achieve deep relaxation and balance by working with the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve plays a key role in regulating internal organs—the heart, lungs, and digestive system—as well as the entire autonomic nervous system.

This massage is inspired by the Polyvagal Theory. According to this theory, our nervous system functions in three primary states:
• Safety – we feel relaxed, calm, and present.
• Fight or flight – we mobilize for action in the face of a threat.
• Freeze – we may withdraw, shut down, or experience dissociation.
Polyvagal massage helps shift our nervous system from a "fight or flight" or "freeze" state into a state of "safety."
During the massage, I focus on the areas of the body through which the nerve passes: the head, face, neck, shoulder girdle, arms, and selected parts of the back and chest. I use subtle techniques that support the stimulation of the vagus nerve and activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for relaxation.
This massage is used as a supportive method for stress and emotional regulation, as well as for improving overall well-being.
